Cute ramen place to stop on a hot day in Portland. We were in town visiting and were craving ramen. The place was clean and service was attentive and helpful. The ramen was kinda on the salty side even for ramen. The Brussels sprouts were delicious and a little too salty as well. Would have been nice if there was a light sweetest to them. Overall it meant the craving and we had a great time.

We went to Pai Men for the 3rd time and it seems to never disappoint. Foods always good, service is always fast, and the visit is always worth it. The place is small but we seem to always get a table without too long of a wait. Service is always friendly and quick which we always appreciate The bao buns are always soft and pillowy with a burst of flavor inside. And the ramen and rice bowls are always something we crave. My favorite is the lobster ramen. The broth is so rich and creamy always leaving me satisfied. And the rice bowls are always packed with yummy flavors and good portions of meat. Overall, if we are looking for ramen in the area this is the place to go. We won't get stop coming back and highly recommend giving it a shot *this is only our opinion*

Don't know why it took me so long to try out Pai Men Miyake.. what a cozy spot with that Congress St energy! My friend had the Lobster Miso Ramen, and I opted for the Katsudon. Wowow. I was craving donburi, and I cleaned that bowl up. It was exactly what I needed -- perfect comfort food with the right amount of tonkatsu sauce and steamed egg delight. Nothing crazy special but everything just right. My friend enjoyed her ramen but the lobster was a bit of work to get the meat out of the tail with chopsticks. I had a cocktail but it wasn't that memorable. It's nice that there is an "Asian twist" on their cocktails but about half are pretty simple. The service staff did their best, while attending to 2DineIn orders, etc.

Perhaps the premiere Ramen spot in Portland. Always a wait to sit down during dinner but was by myself and snagged a seat at the bar. Bustling and loud, the vibe is energetic. Cocktails were on point. Didn't get the hamayaki this visit, gratuitous in flavor who could not love it? Got the spare rib ramen and some karaage which is my comfort food. I'm a sucker for gin drinks and they delivered. A must try in Portland.

Cute little restaurant with great noodle bowls. I have eaten here a few times and the bowls never disappoint. Their sushi, edamame and pork dumplings are great as well. Lots of cocktails and wine options. They have a little outdoor patio but the inside is very cozy for winter. The service was great and the food is always good!

My children love ramen. No idea where it came from, but it's a meal I enjoy too, so who's complaining? My wife found this place when we were out and about, and I'm glad she did. Our server was very friendly and checked to see if we're were okay pretty regularly. We started we pork gyoza. Cooked well, nice and crunchy without being burnt. Wife ordered the duck ramen and ate every single bite. She never finishes the whole bowl. I wasn't feeling very adventurous this outing and just stuck with the chicken. Pretty basic, I know. It too was good, and I ate every bite as well. Kids got their own and didn't complain, so it checks out with 5 year olds and 8 year olds. Cool spot, I liked the brick wall in the place--made it feel very Portland. Definitely worth a try if you like ramen.
